Gene P. Kendall

Gene P. Kendall, Sr., 83, of Lawrence passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by loved ones at his home. Gene was born on August 6, 1934 to the late Wesley and Ruth (Griffin) Kendall.

Gene served his country in the U.S. Army, 11th Airborne Division. He worked at Chrysler, GTE, and retired from Cambridge Valve and Fitting. He had an amazing sense of humor; there was never a time that Gene wasn’t telling jokes or sharing stories just to make those around him smile. Gene had many interests including hunting, camping, cars, the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots.  
Devoted to his family, Gene had an incredibly big, loving heart and would be the first to offer help to anyone when in need. 

Gene was the widower of the late Mary (Sweeney) of fifty-four years and is survived by his five children, Nancy Parshley and her husband, Harry of Derry, NH, Linda Paradis and her husband, Paul of Haverhill, Diane Croteau and her husband, Neil of Derry, NH, Paul Kendall and his wife, Kellie of Salem, NH, and Marie Angelone and her husband, David of Port St. Lucie, FL. Also among his survivors are his sister, Ruth Easton of Minnesota; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements: Family and friends may call on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 4 to 7:30 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A service will be held at the conclusion of the service at 7:30 PM.
