Gaetano R. Pappalardo

Gaetano R. Pappalardo, 102, of Lawrence, MA passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Meadows Health Center in North Andover. Born in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Alfio and Maria (Dovi) Pappalardo.

A lifelong resident of Lawrence, Gaetano owned and operated, along with his family, Pappy’s Bakery in Lawrence. A devout Catholic, he attended Holy Rosary Church and was a lifelong member. He was also a longtime member of Saint Alfio Society and was the oldest member. He loved his extended family and was kind to all animals.

Gaetano was predeceased by his siblings, Frances Torissi, Josephine Carsano, Domenic, Anthony, Edward, Salvatore, and Lucy Pappalardo. He is survived by his sisters, Rose Rignoli of Salisbury, MA, Gace Sinabaldi of Plaistow, NH, and Margaret Ragonese of Raymond, NH. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 9:00-11:00 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
