Gaetana M. Fishwick

Gaetana “Gay” (Ferrara) Fishwick, 97, of Lawrence passed away April 13, 2022. Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Cerino and Carmella (Sapienza) Ferrara.

Gay was raised in Lawrence and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She worked for many years as a stitcher at local area Lawrence Shoe Mills. In her later years she was involved with Dolls for Dolls, where she made many dolls for less fortunate children in other countries.

Gay was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Fishwick and her brother, Mathew Ferrara.

She is survived by her son, Robert B. Fishwick and his wife Sylvia of Epsom, NH; grandchildren, Robert Fishwick and his wife Amanda, Joshua Fishwick, and Jeffrey Fishwick and his wife Reanna. She also leaves three great-grandchildren.

At the request of the family, all services will be private. Entombment will be at the St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum in Lawrence.
