So sorry to hear of my friends passing. Ditto to what David Pruitt said. Fred literally saved my life on the Commodore's tour. My heartfelt condolences to his family. See ya sooner, Big Fred.

Now running that big Load-in in heaven.
Fred took me under his wing, he was very much a mentor and teacher during our time at Tom Fields Assoc. Then he was the Stage Manager duirng the Commodores 1977 tour that so many of us were a part of.
Save a cigar and coffee for me Fred and say hello to Kiphut

HEAVENLY LIGHTS
The sun shines down upon us
and gives us warmth and light.
Then when the day has ended
it disappears from sight.
Though we're left in darkness,
we know the sun's not died,
for it is shining brightly
on the world's other side.
So it is when one we love
comes to their end of days.
They just go to the other side
to shine their loving rays.
That's why heaven is a place
that glows beyond compare.
The lights of those who've left us
are all brightly shining there.

I am so very sorry to hear about Freddie's passing. He was such a wonderful man. Carol my heart goes out to you and the rest of your family. I will miss him dearly at trivia. Fred would come to the trivia nights I hosted every Wednesday night at the Fireside. He would always challenge my answers and most of the time... he was right! He was such a great man. My uncle passed and his wake is the same evening at the same time however I will try my best to make it by. God Bless and may he rest in eternal peace. - DJ MIKE

We just heard the news about Fred’s passing and are deeply saddened. We join with so many others who knew Fred in offering our deepest sympathy.
The measure of a life well-lived is not one of earthly possessions, but rather the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all who knew and loved him.
The smile...the humor...the honesty...the friendship...will not be forgotten.
Our condolences to Fred’s family – especially his beloved wife Carol.
