Frank “Paul” Morrison, 85, of Methuen passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Cedar View Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Methuen. Born in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Kendrick) Morrison.
Paul was raised and educated in Lawrence, and then enlisted in the US Navy. After his service, he worked at Western Electric. He then went to work in area paper mills and retired as an engineer in the boiler room. He loved the outdoors, whether it be fishing, boating, swimming, hunting, bike riding. He was a member of the Boca Raton Bike Club in Florida. He also loved ballroom dancing with his wife.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cedar View and Constellation Hospice for their care and compassion.
Paul was predeceased by his first wife, Rose Mary (Enaire) Morrison; his stepson, James Coupe; and his sisters, Kay Choynake and Alice Kurtis.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen (Costello) Morrison; his children, Therese Morrison and her companion, Timothy Brooks of Dracut, Nancy Neault and her husband, Gary of North Andover, Paul Morrison and his wife, Lauren of Derry, NH, Gerilyn Turcotte and her husband, Steven of Lowell, Lynda Noonan and Gail Jean, both of Lowell; grandchildren, Corey and Dilan Neault. He also leaves five step grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 7, 2019 at St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence Street in Methuen. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
