Frank D. Messina

Frank D. Messina, 73, of Haverhill, MA, passed away peacefully after a short-term illness on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. He was the son of the late Mario A. Messina and Margaret A. (DeCunto) Messina.

Born and raised in Lawrence, MA, Frank was a graduate of Lawrence High School. He later attended Saint Francis College of Assisi and received bachelor’s degree in economics. He enjoyed a long career in insurance and real estate. Frank, a conversationalist, will be remembered for his humor and wise advice. He will always be recognized as the main attraction at holidays and family gatherings. Frank will be greatly missed at future cookouts. Memories from the Limo Louie days will live on and be cherished by many. He will be remembered as the family’s compass and rock.

Frank is survived by his two sons, Louis R. Messina and Frank D. Messina; close family, Rose Messina, Mary LaMontagne, Mario Messina, and Pasquale Messina; several nieces, nephews and close family friends. Frank’s memory will live on through his granddaughter, Maggie May, who he deeply adored.

Honoring Frank’s wishes, services honoring his life will be held in private.
