Frank S. Incropera

August 29, 1926 ~ July 30, 2018 (age 91)
Frank S. Incropera, 91, of North Andover passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at Sutton Hill Center in North Andover. He was born in Lawrence on August 29, 1926 to the late Santo and Jennie (Messineo) Incropera.

A U.S. veteran, Frank served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was employed as a Lawrence firefighter for Station Engine 6 before retirement. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching baseball and attending Lawrence High School football games, especially the old Lawrence-Lowell Thanksgiving rivalry with his son. He took great pride in attending his grandchildren’s events, treasuring those precious moments together. There was no greater joy for him than cheering them on while on the sidelines. He was a parishioner at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church where he was an usher.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of sixty-eight years, Barbara M. (Scuderi) Incropera of North Andover; his son, Steven “Sonny” Incropera and his wife, Lori of Rockport, MA; and his daughter, Diane Chrysikos and her husband, Lou of Westford; sisters, Mary DiPrima and her husband, Joseph of Salem, NH, Angie Lasley and her husband, Duane of Methuen. Also, among his survivors are his seven grandchildren and six, soon to be seven, great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 3rd at 10:00 am at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex Street in Lawrence. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Frank’s memory to the Firefighter’s Memorial Scholarship or Lawrence Firefighter’s Charity Fund, P.O. Box 533, Lawrence, MA 01841.
