Tribute

Francis C. “Frank” Tasca, Sr., 83, of Bradford, MA, passed away April 30, 2021, at High Pointe House in Haverhill. He was born in Boston, MA, the son of the late Carmelo and Madeline (Arivella) Tasca.

Raised and educated in Lawrence, MA, Frank was a graduate of Lawrence High School, class of 1958, and Industrial Technical School in Boston, class of 1960. He worked for thirty-eight years at Lucent Technologies and retired as a materials manager.

Frank was a 60-year member of St. Alfio Society in Lawrence. He was very dedicated and involved with the society. He would decorate the bandstand for the Feast of the Three Saints every year and earned the nickname, “Picasso.” He was a longtime parishioner of Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, a former member of the Sons of Italy, and an avid Red Sox fan.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rosalie (Patti) Tasca, with whom he lovingly shared thirty-eight years of marriage. They enjoyed spending their free time in Maine together. Frank also enjoyed his time with his family camping and spending time up north. Being all together made him the happiest.

Frank is survived by his son, Francis C. “T.J.” Tasca and his companion Jennifer Laroche of Bradford; and his grandchildren, P.F.C. Nicholas Tasca, USMC and Brandon Tasca, and Taylor and Andrew Laroche.
