Florence M. (Miller) Loosigian, 88, of Hampton Beach, NH and Salem, NH passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Amesbury, she was the daughter of the late Vart and Anna (Kochakian) Miller.
Florence was raised and educated in Haverhill. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School and also attended Massachusetts College of Art. She worked at her father’s family business, Miller’s Dry Cleaners, and later opened her own business with her husband, Tic Toc Dry Cleaners in Salem, NH. She was a graduate of Fazio Beauty School and owned and operated Main Street House of Beauty and Scruples Hair Design, both in Salem, NH. Florence and her husband were also real estate developers in the Salem, NH area.
Family and friends were everything to Florence and her husband. Their happiest times were when all the family gathered at their Hampton Beach home.
Florence was predeceased by her beloved husband, William K. Loosigian.
She is survived by her children, William P. Loosigian of Hampton Beach, NH and his girlfriend, Suzanne Oliveri of Londonderry, NH, and Cindy MacDonald and her husband, Larry and grandchildren, Olivia and Sam MacDonald all of Salem, NH; sisters, Lucy Hollisian, Virginia and Sylvia Miller all of Haverhill; brothers, Philip Miller and his wife, Nancy of Hampton, NH, and Edward Miller and his wife, Cathy of Exeter, NH; and she also leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial visitation on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends of Boston’s Homeless at www.fobh.org/about or Salem Animal Rescue League at www.sarlnh.org.
