Edward Soto

Edward Soto, 50, of Haverhill, MA, passed away on February 19, 2021, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Manhattan, NY, on October 16, 1970, to Rafael and Eduviges (Mateo) Soto.

A loving father, husband, son, and brother, Edward was an incredible human being who possessed the ability to brighten up a room. He was charismatic and charming. Edward loved to spend time with his family and friends and always managed to make people laugh. His beautiful smile is something everyone will always joyfully remember. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Edward is survived by his loving wife, Clara Ospina of Haverhill; his son, Edward Soto, Jr. of New York; and his daughter, Jennifer Soto of Haverhill; and his mother, Eduviges Soto. He was predeceased by his father, Rafael Soto. He is also survived by his brothers: Rafael Soto, Jr. and his wife Chaira of Haverhill and Michael Soto and his wife, Julissa of Haverhill; his nieces: Alina, Sherly, Jasmine, Rachel, Ambar, and Kiara.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation from 4:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A service will follow at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date.

As of the most recent update, we are able to offer visitation periods and funeral services in the funeral home or at a church.
