Edna M. Peters

Edna M. (McCarthy) Peters, 78, of Methuen passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at High Pointe House in Haverhill. Born in Dexter, ME, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Ruth (Fish) Turner.

Edna was educated in Andover and was a graduate of Andover High School, class of 1959. She was a cable maker at Raytheon. She loved to read and mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. Being surrounded by her husband, Tom and her children, especially her grandchildren, is what made her most happy.

She is survived by her loving husband Thomas M. Peters of Methuen; son, David M. Peters from Methuen; and daughter, Donna Hewitt and her husband, Jeff of Colorado; adoring grandchildren, Sarah and Michael Hewitt, both of Colorado; beloved sister, Evelyn Peters and her husband, Jim of Andover. She also leaves behind several nephews, cousins, and extended family. Edna will be sorely missed, but never forgotten by all those who loved and knew her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, February 20th in the funeral home chapel.
