Edmund J. Rozumek, 87, of Lawrence, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA.
Born in Lawrence on July 2, 1931, to the late Edmond and Helen Rozumek, Edmund was a graduate of Lawrence High School. He was a VP/GM for the Stop and Shop Supermarket Co. for over twenty-five years, responsible for close to 100 stores in the northeast. His greatest accomplishment and pride though was owning and operating his own supermarket company for nearly twenty years in the Nashua, NH area with his entire family.
With an undeniable passion for living, Edmund enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life: traveling to Hawaii for the past thirty years with his wife, Rita, avid sports fan, most especially enjoyed the Patriots and Bruins, he was an avid reader, and always passionately involved with his family’s entrepreneurial business ventures. He is known for his positive attitude, incredible honesty, tenacious work ethic, and his love of family.
Edmund is survived by his beloved wife, Rita (Lacroix) Rozumek of Lawrence; his sons, Bob E. Rozumek and his wife, Madeleine of Hampton, NH, Mike J. Rozumek and his wife, Lainey of Portsmouth, NH, and Dave J. Rozumek of Hampton, NH; three grandchildren, Elizabeth M. Hammock and her husband, Wells, Adam R. Rozumek and his wife, Callie, and Ashley Miller and her husband, Donnie; six great-grandchildren; his sister, Laura Shottes of North Andover.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, April 7, 2019, from 3:00-6:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 8, 2019, at 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
