Edmund S. Daher

Edmund S. Daher, 86, of Newton, NH, formerly of Lawrence, MA, passed away November 19, 2019 at Lahey Clinic Hospital with his family by his side.  Born in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Said and Mary (Habib) Daher.
 
Mr. Daher was a graduate of Lawrence High School and Northern Essex College.  He was a retired Lawrence Police Officer and served from 1965 to 1995. He also served with the US Air Force during the Korean War.
 
Edmund was very active, spending every morning at the gym.  He enjoyed his weekly lunches with other retired officers and participating in various activities with his many friends from the gym and senior centers. He loved his time with his children and grandchildren. Edmund will be remembered as a pillar of strength by his family and all who knew him.  
 
Mr. Daher was predeceased by his beloved wife Catherine (Kiley) Daher who passed away June, 19, 2019, and his siblings, Peter Daher and Kady Musumeci.
 
He is survived by his children, Karen Berard and her husband Nathan of Salem, NH, Sharon Daher of Salem, NH, Christina Frizzell and her husband Kevin of Newton, NH, and Edmund Daher and his wife Lisa of Salem, NH; grandchildren, Sean Daher and his wife Kara, Shannon Daher, Anthony and Marcus Cardillo, Tyler, Zachary, and Chase Frizzell, and Marissa and Matthew Berard, his sister Doris Daher and his nephew, Philip Musumeci.
 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, November 22, 2019, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen.  His funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at St. Anthony Maronite Church, 145 Amesbury Street in Lawrence.  Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery in Methuen.  Memorial contributions may be made to Sacramentine Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament Monastery, 86 Dromore Rd., Scarsdale, NY 10583.
