Dorothy E. Isherwood

Dorothy E. Isherwood, 86, passed away on July 4, 2018. Born and raised in Plymouth, MA, she was the daughter of William MacDonald and Hazel (Langille) MacDonald.

After she graduated from Plymouth High School, she worked at the Plymouth National Bank. Dorothy married Ainsworth Varnum Isherwood in 1955 and moved to Dracut, MA a year later. She worked at the Dracut Library for over 35 years. She loved to read, go to the beach, and ballroom dance.

Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Ainsworth Varnum Isherwood and her brother William MacDonald.

She is survived by her daughter, Loreen (Isherwood) Augeri and her husband Alfred and her son, Lance Isherwood and his wife Suk, her grandchildren, Shannon (Augeri) Zappala and her husband Kyle, Danielle (Augeri) Reed and her husband Michael, Russell Keeler, and Keith Isherwood and his wife Barbara, and three great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 9:00-10:00 am at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
