Donald J. Panusky

Donald Joseph Panusky, 80, passed away on December 30, 2021, at Lawrence General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 18, 1941, he was the son to the late John and Amelia (Stodolnic) Panusky.

Born and raised in Lawrence, Donald attended Central Catholic High School, and served in the United States Air Force for four years. He later met the love of his life, Rosemarie, and they soon started a family together. Donald was a manager for Pepsi Cola Company in Bradford, MA, where he retired after forty years. He was an amazing man, and a proud member of the American Legion in Methuen, and the Rocky Club in Lawrence. Donald loved his family more than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his two grandsons and attending all of their sporting events. He was a big fan of the Yankees and New York Giants, and enjoyed spending his time playing cards and taking trips to the casino with his wife, Rosemarie.

Along with his parents, Donald is pre-deceased by his siblings, John, George, Anna, Frances, and Helen.

Donald will be deeply missed and is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Rosemarie (Picopolus) Panusky, daughter, Sheri Panas and her husband, James of Methuen, MA; grandchildren, Kyle Anthony Panas and Dylan James Panas; sister, Diana Paris of Methuen, MA; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 6, 2021, at St. Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 7, 2021, at Woodbrook Cemetery, 100 Salem Street, Woburn, MA. The family kindly requests that all visitors wear a mask.
