Donald “Gary” Farley, 63, of Danville, NH, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 4, 2019 at his home. Born on June 17, 1955 in Melrose, MA, he was the son of the late Charles and Florence (Warnock) Farley.
Raised and educated in Atkinson, NH, Gary was a graduate of Timberlane Regional High School. He worked at Lucent Technologies for thirty years as a supervisor and was currently employed at Pacific Packaging Products as a truck driver. He was also the President of Jason Farley All In For A Cure Foundation, Inc., which is a nonprofit created in memory of his son, Jason, in 2014.
Gary had an incredible work ethic and an immense amount of love for his family and friends. If you were lucky to meet Gary, he made a lasting impression on you. The lights of his life were his boys, Jason and Matt. He loved spending time with them and their friends and looked forward to their annual fishing trip. Gary was a devoted father who taught his boys the value of hard work, integrity, family, discipline, friendship, and kindness.
Gary was predeceased by his twin sons, Jonathan and Bryan Farley and son, Jason “Jay” Farley.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Brenda (Conway) Farley; adored son, Matt Farley and his fiancée, Kelly Hanagan; siblings, Chandler, Charlene, and Craig Farley. He also leaves several adoring nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many close friends. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten by all those who loved and knew him.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel following the calling hours.
