Domenico Armano
December 13, 1934 ~ February 14, 2021 (age 86) 86 Years Old
Domenico Armano, 86, of Dracut, MA, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, February 14, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Pietrina M. (Cascio) Armano, with whom he shared sixty-one wonderful years in marriage.
Born in Polizzi Generosa, Sicily in 1934, Domenico was the son of the late Paolo and Grazia (Signorello) Armano. In 1954, he met the love of his life, Pietrina, at an engagement party and before long they were a couple. In 1959, they were married and began their family a short time later. Following an invitation to move to America, they decided to accept this opportunity.
A kind hearted man, Domenico wanted a better life for all, especially his children. He was passionate about his family, especially his children and grandchildren, always there and happy to help. He shared with them his love of humor, music and outdoors. Wanting to share their culture with his family, they decided to go back to Sicily for a time. This meant so much to him, however it was not long before they returned to their family home in Dracut. He loved his backyard, his goats, and garden. A true family man!
Domenico is survived by his daughter, Grace Armano and her husband Brian Healey; his son, Domenic Armano; grandchildren, Ashley, Sophia, and Siena; brothers, Salvatore and Rosario Armano; in-laws, Gandolfo Cascio, Matteo Cascio, Domenic Cascio, and Giuseppe Cascio; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
