David E. Peters

David E. Peters, 82, of Methuen, MA, peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA.

Born and raised in Lawrence, MA, David was the son of the late Arthur and Ruth (Kibbe) Peters.

David was a graduate of Lawrence High School, employed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield and retired from Malden Mills. He was a family man who took pride in his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed the game of baseball as a player, coach, and life-long fan of the Boston Red Sox. David was also an avid card player, through which he made many wonderful friends.

David was pre-deceased by his loving wife of 29 years, Janet (Battye) Peters.

He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his children, Eric D. Peters and his wife Dawn of Billerica, MA, and his daughter Cristen C. Dion and her husband Walter of Lawrence, MA; siblings, Arthur Peters, Alyce Peters, Paula DiMauro and her husband Anthony, and Michael Peters; four grandchildren, Zackary and his wife Caty, Cassidy, Jason, and Ryan; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen, MA. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
