Attorney Constance Marie (Torrisi) “Connie” Miragliotta, 89, of Andover, MA, formerly of Methuen, MA, North Andover, MA, Seabrook, NH, and Juno Beach, FL, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Attorney Joseph Miragliotta with whom she shared forty-eight wonderful years in marriage.
Born and raised in Lawrence, the daughter of the late Joseph and Carmel Torrisi, Constance was a graduate of Holy Rosary Grammar School in Lawrence, MA, Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro, MA, and Regis College in Weston, MA in 1953. Following her graduation, Connie was a teacher for two years in the Methuen, MA school system. She received her master’s degree in Education from Salem State University in 1978. In 1979, Connie attended New England School of Law, graduating in 1982.
For the next twenty-five years, Connie joined the family law firm, Joseph Miragliotta PC, along with her husband, daughter, and their son. She specialized in family law and was well recognized for her ability to get a fair settlement for her clients.
Connie and Joe enjoyed their family vacations in Mexico every year until they purchased a condo in Juno, FL. They also enjoyed a summer house in Seabrook, NH for many years. Always wanting to be involved in her community, Connie was a past director of the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club and former member of the Lawrence Rotary Club.
In addition to her husband Joseph, Connie was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Torrisi.
She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her children, Angela Lowell and her husband William, Camille Daly and her husband William, James Miragliotta and his wife Michelle; grandchildren, Elizabeth, William, and Katherine Lowell, Alexandra and Megan Daly, Alisandra Fiore; great-grandchildren, Henry Lowell, Rorri and Julian Paugh, Casten and Reignen Fiore; brother, Alfred Torrisi; sisters-in-law, Peggy Torrisi, Maria Torrisi, brother-in-law, Carmelo Miragliotta; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Ayda Diaz.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Connie’s memory may be made to the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club, 136 Water Street, Lawrence, MA 01841 or to a charity of one’s choice.
In an abundance of caution, the family kindly requests that all attendees wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, October 16, 2021, between the hours of 9:30-10:30 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA. A funeral mass for Connie will be celebrated on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 11:30 AM at St. Michael Church, 196 Main Street, North Andover, MA. Entombment will follow in St. Mary – Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
