Clementina A. Pritts

Clementina A. (Vizzini) Pritts, 91, of Methuen, MA, passed away November 15, 2021, at her home with her family by her side. Born in Methuen, she was the daughter of the late Lucio and Theresa (Savastano) Vizzini.

A lifelong resident of Methuen, Clementina was a graduate of Searles High School and also attended Lawrence General Hospital Nursing School. She worked for many years at Western Electric and enjoyed Ten Pin Bowling. She also enjoyed crochet and knitting, and would make blankets and other items for the elderly, children, and shut-ins.

Clementina was predeceased by her husband, Jimmie Foxx Pritts, Sr.; her great-great granddaughter, Isabella; and her siblings, Carmelina Santagati, Charles and Carl Vizzini.

She is survived by her children, Joyce Daigle and her husband James of Methuen, Paula Jean Bucuzzo of Andover, and Jimmie Pritts, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Methuen. She also leaves seven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjud e.org or to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack Street, Building 9, Lawrence, MA 01843.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. The family respectfully requests that if you have not received the Covid-19 vaccine to please wear a mask. Private funeral services will be held on Friday and burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
