Claudette Lavoie

Claudette Lavoie, 85, of Andover, MA, a loving mother, passed away at Atria Marland Place in Andover, on Sunday, December 20, 2020. She was born in Ville Degelis, Province of Quebec, Canada, the daughter of the late Albert and Rose (Dion) Levesque of Canada.

Raised and educated in Canada, Claudette immigrated to the United States in 1960, where she raised her family in Lawrence, MA. For many years, she was the bookkeeper and secretary for the family business, Lavoie Construction.

Claudette loved gambling at casinos, doing puzzles, dancing, spending time with family, and spending the winter months in Del Ray Beach, FL. Traveling with her husband to France, Hawaii, the Caribbean islands, and many other destinations produced some of the most wonderful memories. She will be best remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Predeceased by her husband, Leonard, in 2013, Claudette is survived by her children: Danielle and her husband Norman Michaud, Raymond, NH, Dolores and her husband Joseph Kennedy, Hampton NH, and Priscilla and her husband Ghislain St.Pierre, Lawrence, MA, Richard and wife Sylvie Lavoie, Salem, NH, and Jacinthe wife of the late Chanel Gagne, North Andover, MA; brothers, Paul, Maurice, and Jean-Claude Levesque, all of Canada. Also, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family has requested that all services remain private at this time.
