Claire N. Megrian

Claire N. Megrian, 92, of Methuen, MA, peacefully passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023, at High Pointe Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 2, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Melanie Changerian, and the wife of the late Harry Megrian.

Claire was born and raised in Lawrence, MA, she grew up in Prospect Hill and graduated from Lawrence High School. She married the love of her life, Harry and they had their son, Aram. Claire worked for the IRS for many years. She had a beach house in Seabrook, NH, and had many fond memories of summers spent with her family at the beach. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting and liked to paint, knit, and needle point. 

Claire will be deeply missed and is survived by her sister, Jean Christian; her niece, Michelle Baddour; her nephew, Mark Christian and his wife Gayle; as well as several great-nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, Harry Megrian, Claire is pre-deceased by her beloved son, Aram Megrian; her sister, Elaine St. Onge; and niece, Cheryl Silvis. There will be a private funeral and burial. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Claire’s memory to the family or to a charity of your choice.
