Christopher J. "CMZ" McAdam

Christopher J. McAdam, 62, of Methuen, MA, passed away on December 25, 2021, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen after a brief illness. Born on January 27, 1959, he was the son of the late Philip and Jeannine (Guilmette) McAdam.

Born in Dover, NH and raised in Methuen, Chris was a graduate of Methuen High School. For most of his career he worked as a cook, which he loved doing, the last 14 years with Al’s Diner.

Chris was the kind of guy that everybody knew and loved, he lit up the room whenever he walked in. He had a wide circle of friends and was known by everybody. His kindness, sweetness and kind soul was what attracted everyone towards him. Chris was close to his family and they meant everything to him.

If there was a New England sports game on Chris was watching. He loved all of the local teams and enjoyed watching them win numerous championships.

He is survived by his first and foremost special friend Melissa Sweracki; sisters: Kim DiMaruo and her husband Butch of Methuen, Karen Santitto and her husband Sam of Derry, NH, Kathy Cyr and her husband Robert of Sun City, FL; his brothers: Philip B. McAdam of Pelham, NH, Kevin McAdam of Methuen, Scott McAdam and his wife Paula of Methuen, Dana McAdam of Methuen, and Eric McAdam of Methuen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A service will be held at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be private.
