Christine T. Plonowski

Christine T. Plonowski, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Sebastian and Rose Salafia.

Born and raised in Lawrence, Christine worked at the Internal Revenue Service for thirty years of her life until she retired. She volunteered her services with her late husband, Frank, at the Lawrence Senior Center and received an award given by the Lawrence Council on Aging on May 8, 1995.

Christine had many hobbies and enjoyed traveling. She loved working with her hands to sew, cook, and garden, etc. She was fortunate to have traveled to Italy and Las Vegas. She also enjoyed many trips to Foxwoods to play Bingo.

Christine will be remembered for her love, compassion, and willingness to help others. She will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Plonowski and a daughter, Nancy Plonowski, both of Lawrence.
