Christine (Lanni) Nastasia, 83, of Exeter, NH, passed away at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington on Monday, March 11, 2019.
Born and raised in Lawrence on June 5, 1935, Chris was one of two siblings, born to the late William and Grace (Brucato) Lanni. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1953, and attended McIntosh School of Business. She was an honorary member of St. Rita’s Sodality at Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence, a member of the Exeter Garden Club, the Lady’s Bowling League, and supported various cancer fundraising groups.
Chris’ three important things in her life were family, family and family. She was a proud homemaker who was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The holidays were important to her as it brought her family closer.
Chris will always be remembered for being loving, caring, selfless and someone who took care of everybody; she was the ultimate caretaker.
In addition to her parents, Christine was predeceased by her brother, Dr. John P. Lanni.
Chris is lovingly survived by her husband Victor Nastasia; her sons, Victor Nastasia of Carson City, NV, and Matthew Nastasia, and his wife, Elizabeth of Hampton, NH; daughter, Christine Kling, and her husband, Paul of Hampton, NH; grandchildren, Maria Grace Nastasia, Angela Christina Morgan, and her husband, Adam, Victor William Ignatius Nastasia, Matthew Nastasia, Michael Nastasia, Erica Nastasia, Mark Kling, and Jessica Kling; great-grandson, Adam Morgan; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 10:00 AM in Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex Street in Lawrence. Interment will be held at St. Mary–Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
