Charles K. Mayer

Charles K. Mayer, 65, of Salem, NH passed away August 13, 2021 at the Salemhaven Nursing Home.  He was born in Lawrence and was the son of the late Frank and Carmelina (Lanzafame) Mayer.

Charles was raised and educated in Methuen.  He worked for Parlex Corporation in Methuen for 25 years alongside his brother Jim.  He enjoyed building models, Star Trek and watching wrestling.

 Besides his parents, Charles was predeceased by his brother, Robert Mayer.

 He is survived by his brother, James Mayer and his wife Robin of Salem, NH; sister-in-law, Carmela Mayer of Salem, NH; nieces, Shannon Dufresne and her husband Daniel of Salem, NH , Karen Lavoie and her husband Eric of Dracut; and his nephew, Adam Mayer of  Jupiter,FL.

The family would like to thank the staff of Salemhaven for the great care that Charles was given over the last year and a half, especially Bhumi and Jen.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen.  His funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Rd. Salem, NH.  Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
