Catherine R. Mondejar

Catherine R. (D'Attorre) Mondejar, of Salem, NH, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Carlos R. Mondejar, with whom she shared fifty-three years in marriage.

Born in Lawrence, MA in 1947, Catherine was the daughter of the late Rose (DeMarco) and Angelo D'Attorre. She attended Holy Rosary Grammar School, followed by St. Mary's High School. Always the first to share a meal, a story, or a laugh, she devoted her life to her children, extended family, and close friends.

Catherine enjoyed reading, cooking, shopping at Home Goods and QVC, and especially gift-giving during the Christmas Holiday.

In addition to her husband, Carlos, she is survived by her three sons, Christian Mondejar and his wife Madeline of Pelham, NH, Brandon Mondejar and his fiancé Deneen Habarta of Lawrence, MA, Jordan Mondejar and his wife Shannon of Haverhill, MA; grandchildren, Madison, Zander, Lorenzo, Claire, Xavier, Bret, Stella, and Tyler. She is also survived by her sister, Rosemary Thornhill and her husband Roger of Lawrence, MA; nephew, Shaun Thornhill and his wife Robin of Danville, NH; niece, Shayna Doulames and her husband Jack of Newburyport, MA; beloved childhood friends, Peggy and Donald Granahan, Cecilia and Bobby Zannini, and Loretta and Billy Zannini.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, September 20, 2021, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA. A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary – Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
