Catherine M. Daher

Catherine M. (Kiley) Daher, 84, passed peacefully at Hannah Duston Healthcare in Haverhill. She was born on November 5, 1934, in Balboa, Panama to the late Patrick and Winifred (Higgins) Kiley.

She spent her early childhood in the Panama Canal Zone where her father worked, before moving to Lawrence, MA. Catherine graduated from St. Mary’s High School. She worked at the Internal Revenue Service where she met her husband. Catherine became a homemaker tending to her family’s needs first and foremost. She was a selfless individual who cherished her children and grandchildren above all else. She was a dedicated member of St. Anthony Maronite Church and took great comfort from saying the rosary. Catherine enjoyed reading, especially about history, loved cross word puzzles, and the Boston Red Sox.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Daniel, John, Patricia, and Winifred.

Catherine is survived by her beloved husband, Edmund Daher of Newton, NH; her four children, Karen Berard and her husband, Nathan of Salem, NH, Sharon Daher of Salem, NH, Christina Frizzell and her husband, Kevin of Newton, NH, and son, Edmund Daher and his wife Lisa of Salem, NH. She is survived by nine grandchildren, Sean Daher and his wife, Kara, Shannon Daher, Tyler, Zachary and Chase Frizzell, Marissa and Matthew Berard, and Anthony and Marcus Cardillo. She also leaves two nephews, Patrick Kiley and Philip Musumeci.

Visiting hours are on Friday, June 21, 2019, from 4:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at St. Anthony Maronite Church, 145 Amesbury Street in Lawrence. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Maronite Cemetery in Methuen.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Catherine’s memory may be made to the Sacramentine Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament Monastery at 86 Dromore Road, Scarsdale, NY 10583.
