Carolyn L. Eaton

Carolyn L. (Rahilly) Eaton, 86, of Tewksbury, formerly of Lawrence, passed away January 26, 2021.  Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Louise (Desharnais) Rahilly.

Carolyn was raised in Methuen and was a graduate of Methuen High School.  Besides raising eight children, she also worked at local shoe manufactures and the in former Jubert’s Diner in Lawrence.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter Eaton, Jr.; her daughter, Deborah Eaton, and her brothers, Richard, Daniel, John, Joseph, and William Rahilly.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Barbara Payson and her husband Gary of Methuen, Diane DeFruscia and her husband Anthony of Salem, NH, Genevieve Bard and her husband Richard of Lawrence, Walter Eaton of Salisbury, Michael Eaton and his wife Heidi of Andover, Joseph Eaton of Haverhill, and Daniel Eaton of Amesbury.  She also leaves 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
