Caroline (Mangano) Giantonio, 95, of Lawrence passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home. Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late John and Marion Mangano.
Caroline was raised and educated in Lawrence. Her family was everything to her and she loved and raised her six children. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, doing crossword puzzles, and playing Bingo.
Caroline was predeceased by her husband, Paul Giantonio; her sons, Richard and Paul, Jr.; daughter, Carol Loffredo; and her siblings, Ignatius, John, Jr., Carmelo, Rose, and Frances.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Giantonio and his wife, Gail of Washington, Ron Giantonio and his wife, Brenda of Methuen, and David Giantonio of Lawrence; her brother, George Mangano and his wife, Charlotte; sisters-in-law, Sandy and Ann Mangano; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Private services were held on Friday, September 21, 2018 and burial was in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
