Carol Ann (Foskett) Ryan, age 71, of Methuen, MA, peacefully passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, November 8, 2020, after a long period of declining health.

Born of the late Frank A. Foskett and Helen (Tarrant) Foskett, on December, 22, 1948, Carol was one of seven children. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1967. While being a terrific mom to her two daughters, she worked at Raytheon in Andover, MA, for thirty years, where she made many friends. Carol was a kind and generous person and anyone who knew her would agree.

Family and friends were very important to Carol. Holidays and having her family for dinner were occasions that she loved. She looked forward to the annual Christmas party she hosted for all her family and friends every year.

Carol and her husband Jim loved to travel, they took multiple trips to Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, AZ. The trips that meant the most to her were the four trips to Disney World with her family. Although she was not a big fan of rides herself, she loved to watch her grandchildren have so much fun.

She will be forever missed and is survived by her loving husband James, with whom she celebrated 53 years of marriage on August 20th; daughters, Kimberly (Ryan) Fiorante and her husband, Anthony, of Methuen, Shannon (Ryan) McCoy and her husband, Brian of Atkinson, NH; grandson, Christopher Fiorante, of Methuen; granddaughters, Caitlin Fiorante, of Methuen, Julia McCoy and Jillian McCoy of Atkinson, NH; brothers, Frank Foskett, of Phoenix, AZ, James Foskett of Salisbury, MA; sisters, Maureen Kilbreth of Mount Pleasant, SC, Joanne Rennie, of North Andover, Patricia Flaherty, of Andover, MA, and Deborah Fichera, of Salem, NH.

Carol’s family would like to thank the nursing staff at Lawrence General Hospital ICU and All-Care VNA/Hospice for the care and kindness they provided her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, November, 10, 2020, from 9:00-11:00 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
