Carol A. Alses

Carol A. (Holgate) Alses, 81, of Ossipee, NH and former longtime resident of North Salem, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 30, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Leslie and Anna (Hughes) Holgate.

Born and raised in Methuen, Carol was a graduate of Methuen High School. She truly enjoyed living in North Salem, where she created a loving home environment for her daughters. She enjoyed a long career at Trombly Motor Coach as a bus driver until her retirement.

In her retirement, Carol found a new passion, living in Florida, a place where she was able to make so many friends, and found pleasures in the simple things in life, like sitting by the pool. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and being outside.

Most of all, Carol loved her family, feeling especially blessed with her grandson and was so proud of her great-grandson, Christian. Time spent making memories with her family truly warmed her heart.

Carol was predeceased by her brother, Robert Holgate. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Libby and her husband Ronald, Jr. of Tuftonboro, NH and Deborah Robichaud and her husband Thomas of Tuftonboro, NH; grandson, Christopher W. Libby and his wife Lisa; great-grandson, Christian S. Libby; brother, Jack Holgate; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 AM.
