Carmina Mercury

Carmina (Grande) Mercury, 93, passed away on October, 3, 2021. She was pre-deceased by her husband Anthony in 2011 to whom she shared 56 years of marriage. Carmina was born in Naples, Italy on September 29, 1928. She came to this country in 1955 and became a naturalized citizen.

Carmina is survived by her daughters, Maria Brown and her husband Jim of Chester, NH, Rosanna Hope and her husband Rick of Methuen, MA, and Silvana Hoffman and Christos Pappas of Pelham, NH; her three grandchildren Jason Brown, Justin Brown, and Lindsey Jones and her husband Anthony. She is also survived by her brothers, Michael Grande and his wife Bianca of Seabrook, NH and Frank Grande and his wife Anna of Methuen, MA. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her sisters, Anna Coletta, Concetta Grande and her brothers, Antonio and Vincent Grande.

Due to an increase in COVID cases, the family is strongly recommending wearing a mask.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, 29 Barker Street, Lawrence.
