Camille R. Chylinski

Camille R. (Grillo) Chylinski, 73, of North Andover, MA, passed away suddenly on January 17, 2023. Born in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of the late Tommasina (Savastano) Grillo and Mario J. Grillo. Camille attended St. Mary’s High School in Lawrence, MA and received her associate’s degree from Macintosh College.

Camille was raised in Lawrence, MA where she grew up with her parents and sister. As a member of the Savastano Restaurant and Catering family, she was surrounded by her aunts, uncles, and cousins. She met her beloved husband during her high school years before they married in September 1969. By 1979, they built a family with three children. The family lived in Methuen before spending years traveling the world. Those who knew her well would agree that Camille cherished her time spent living in Saudi Arabia. Upon returning to America, her family settled in Plaistow, NH where she lived for over 38 years. Her ultimate joy was being a Nana to her seven grandchildren. As a grandmother, she enjoyed weekly cookouts by the pool, sharing memories of her extensive travel, and outfitting her loved ones in crocheted hats, gloves, scarves, and more. Her grandkids will always remember her infamous car rides that would typically end in getting lost while on a new adventure. One would be remiss not to acknowledge the many ways she “Nana-spoiled” them all.

Camille is predeceased by her husband, Jeremi L. Chylinski; her sister, Lucy Trepanier; and brother-in-law, Maurice.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristina Clark and her husband William of Bradford, Jeremi L. Chylinski of New York City, and Diana Chylinski of Andover; and her grandchildren, Andrew, Alexander, Joshua, and Natalia Clark, Jeremi and James Chylinski, and Stella Hightower.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
