Bruce Robinson of Gray, ME, passed away at the age of 83 on March 10, 2019 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH.
Born on May 23, 1935 in Lawrence, Bruce was the son of Ralph and Elsie Robinson. He had an older sister, Virginia, who predeceased him. He graduated from Johnson High School in North Andover, MA and proudly served in the Army National Guard. His love of cars led to a forty-year career with Chrysler Motors. Bruce was an avid carpenter and mechanic was often found building and tinkering in his spare time.
Married for fifty-five years to his beloved wife, Maryann, who predeceased him, their union produced twin daughters, Kimberly and Brenda. In 1967, Bruce and Maryann purchased a home on Little Sebago Lake in Gray, ME. Their home became a focal point in the neighborhood as they hosted 4th of July and Labor Day parties that grew into annual events. Often friends and neighbors would gather at the Robinson home on the lake for an afternoon of cards, boating and swimming.
Bruce is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Robinson of Nashua, NH and Brenda Lamanda of Gray, ME; son-in-law, Al Lamanda of Gray, ME; granddaughter Nicole Lamanda of Miami, FL; and niece, Beverly Tardiff of Cape Coral, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to Friends of the Maine Wildlife Park, P.O. Box 1231, Gray, ME 04039.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at St. Lucy Church, 254 Merrimack Street in Methuen.
