Brittany Danielle Flora-Sun

Brittany Danielle Flora-Sun, 34, of North Andover, MA, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA, surrounded by very dear friends and loving family. Born on Sunday, October 9, 1988, in Barrington, IL, she was the daughter of Steven and Lorraine (Wells) Flora.

The family left Illinois when Brittany was one year old and moved to Georgia, and then to Wisconsin when she was five, where they stayed until she was ten years old. At that time, Brittany and her family settled in Massachusetts. She graduated from North Andover High school and then attended New England College in Henniker, NH, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree. After college, Brittany married Zhuoming Sun and they started their family together. Brittany was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, big sister, and friend. Her three daughters were her pride, joy, and ultimate purpose in life.

Brittany was extremely caring, gentle, and always put others before herself. She was brave, and always fought through the hard times. She loved to sing and listened to a wonderfully eclectic array of music. She was a huge animal advocate, loving her many cats through the years, and her beloved service dog, Lady.

She will be remembered for her big, beautiful smile and infectious laugh. A spiritual soul; her friends quickly became her family. Brittany’s favorite thing to do was to spend time with family and friends.

Brittany will be deeply missed and is survived by her husband, Zhuoming Sun; her beloved daughters, Freya Autumn Sun, Irene Rose Sun, and Luna Summer Sun; her parents, Steven and Lorraine (Wells) Flora; her sister Brianne Flora, and her dog, Lady.  Brittany is also survived by numerous loving friends and extended family members.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA. A celebration of life memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 PM. 
Following services, all are invited to continue to share more memories of Brittany with a mercy meal at Atkinson Country Club, 85 Country Club Drive, Atkinson, NH 03811. 

Brittany loved color. Please feel free to wear your favorite colors / outfit, or Brittany’s favorites: pink/purple…all shades!
