Bradley (Brad) Allen Fay, age 68, of Methuen, MA, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, Massachusetts General Hospital after a short illness, with his wife, Deb Gardner Fay, by his side.
Brad was born and raised in Lawrence, MA on July 19, 1950, the son of the late John and Ethel Fay. Brad graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1968 and enlisted in the Marine Corps and did a three-year tour of duty in Vietnam. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Rifle Marksman. When he finished his tour, he went back to school and graduated from Coyne Electrical. He was employed as an Electrical/Maintenance Manager at Ahlstrom Munksjo in Fitchburg, MA. Brad loved to travel, attend concerts, and walk the beach.
Brad is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 35 years, and his buddies Zeb and Simon. He also leaves behind his wonderful sister, Jacquelyn Valentino of Hampton, NH; and several nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
Per Brad's request, there will not be any services. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
