Bob J. Sasso

Bob J. Sasso, 67, of East Hampstead, NH, passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2022. 

Born in Lawrence, MA on July 19, 1954, Bob was the son of the late Julius J. Sasso and Adeline (Napolitano) Sasso. He was a graduate of Masconomet Regional High School in Boxford, MA. In his younger years, he was a skilled trap shooter and outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and nature. 

Bob was the husband of Debra J. (Ouellette) Sasso, with whom he shared a wonderful 39 years of marriage. He and Debra married in 1983, and in 1991 settled in East Hampstead, NH where they raised their children. He had a keen eye for detail that led to a long and successful career as a Quality Manager for several manufacturing companies in the Merrimack Valley. Bob was an avid golfer who was a member of many leagues over the years. In retirement, he followed his passion for golf and was a dedicated and admired employee at Atkinson Country Club. 

A devoted family man, some of Bob's happiest times were spent making memories with his wife and daughters. He enjoyed traveling throughout the country with his beloved wife, sharing special moments with close friends, and caring for his four grandchildren who knew him affectionately as “Papa.” Known for his kind heart and great sense of humor, Bob will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. 

In addition to his wife, Debra, Bob is survived by his two daughters, Taryn Tulchinsky and her husband Tyler of Epping, NH, and Catherine Alix and her husband Jonathan of Epping, NH; brother, Bruce Sasso and his wife Charlotte of Amagansett, NY; grandchildren, Reese, Benjamin, June, and Levi; as well as many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Bob.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 pm at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA. A funeral mass will be held at Saint Anne Parish, 26 Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Hampstead NH.
