Beverly Friedrich

Beverly (Roy) Friedrich, 93, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully at her home after a long illness, surrounded by her family, on Friday, February 21, 2020. Born on June 27, 1926, in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Riley) Roy.

Raised in Lawrence, Beverly was a graduate of Lawrence High School, class of 1945. She worked at Western Electrics as an assembler before she retired to tend to her family’s needs first and foremost.
She was dedicated to her family and her loved ones. Beverly married the love of her life, Alfred on February 1, 1948, and together they raised their three children. She also enjoyed reading and mostly spending as much time as possible with her family. She was most proud of her children and grandchildren, who brought her so much joy.

Beverly will be most remembered for her kindness, as she was such a generous perpetual caregiver to so many people. She was dearly loved by all who knew her.

She is predeceased by her husband, Alfred Erich Friedrich; and daughter-in-law, Carla Friedrich.

Beverly is survived by her beloved children, Mark D. Friedrich and his wife, Geralyn, Marsha D. Friedrich, and David K. Friedrich, all of Methuen; and cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Joshua, Sarah, Erich, and Elizabeth.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, February 24, 2020, from 5:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at St. Augustine Chapel of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, 128 Ames Street in Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, donations in Beverly’s memory may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street in Methuen, MA 01844.
