Beryl Ann Fraser

Beryl A. (Mills) Fraser, 87, of Andover, MA, passed away June 25, 2020, at her home with her loving family by her side.  Born in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Helen (Monahan) Mills.

Raised and educated in Lawrence, Beryl was a graduate of Lawrence General Hospital Nursing School.  She was a Registered Nurse at Lawrence General Hospital for many years before becoming Director of Nurses at Hughes House in Andover.

Beryl loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and even her great-grandchildren.  She loved summers at the beach, going to Foxwoods, Atlantic City, and the theater. She was an avid Red Sox fan. Beryl was a self-taught pianist.  Her family fondly remembers many Christmas Eves when she played Christmas carols for everyone.

Predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Donald Fraser, Sr.; daughter, Diane Ortiz, and brother, Jack Mills, Beryl is survived by her children, Gary Fraser and his wife Sheila of Haverhill, MA, Donna Fraser of Andover, Efrain Ortiz, husband of Diane (Fraser) Ortiz, Marlene Couture and her husband Mark of Andover, Scott Fraser of Pelham, NH, and Donald Fraser, Jr. and his wife Trish of Oregon, and her brother, Donald Mills of CT.  She also leaves 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, July 3, 2020, from 4:00-6:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen.  Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at stjude.com.
