Bernard DiMambro, 85, of Lawrence passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Nevins Nursing Home in Methuen. He was born in Woburn and was the son of the late Luigi “Louis” and Maria (Pinchera) DiMambro.
Mr. DiMambro was raised and educated in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School. After graduation, he served with the U.S. Airforce from 1947-1955. He was employed as the head custodian for over twenty-six years for the Town of North Andover.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Antoinette (DiMambro) Russis, Ralph, Edward, Frank, and Angelo DiMambro; and his daughter-in-law, Lori DiMambro.
Mr. DiMambro is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Theresa (Doucette) DiMambro; son, Benedict DiMambro; daughter, Lisa Marie (DiMambro) Masuk; brothers, Milio and Louis DiMambro. He also leaves six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral services will be on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
