Bernadette Dumont

Bernadette “Memere” Dumont, 92, of Franklin, NH, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 14, 2023, at Merrimack County Nursing Home, Boscawen, NH, with members of her family by her side. 

Born on August 15, 1930, in Sainte Rita, Quebec, Canada, to the late Alice Dube and Olivier Bosse, Bernadette enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, good food and a cocktail, and finally shopping. She was the loving grandmother of thirty children, great-grandmother of fifty-four children, and great–great-grandmother of ten.  

 
She is survived by her children: Denise (Menick, deceased), Edith (Jean-Yves, deceased), Monique, Jean-Noel (Adeline), Christian (Georgette), Johanne, Mario (Tammy), Francis (Barbie) and Donald (Bonnie). She is also survived by her sister, Rachel, and brother, Zoel. 

 
Bernadette was preceded in death by her husband, Simon Dumont; son Conrad (Nicole, deceased); sisters, Solange and Celine; and brothers, Damien and Gervais.  
 
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 9:00–11:30 AM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen, MA. Funeral services will be follow at 11:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
