Barbara A. Reagan

Barbara A. (Poth) Reagan, 89, of Salem, NH, passed peacefully on February 15, 2021, at Salemhaven Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and was the daughter of the late (Matthew) Peter and Anna Arlene (Narkum) Poth.

Raised and educated in Brooklyn, NY, Barbara later moved with her family to Massachusetts, eventually settling in Bridgewater. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bridgewater State Teaching College and went on to work as a teacher for the Brockton Public School Department, for 30+ years with long tenures at the Ellis Brett and Raymond Schools. She enjoyed spending time gardening, traveling, cooking, and was a voracious reader.

Barbara was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with all of them. Over the course of her life, Barbara also had many pets that she loved dearly.

Barbara is survived by her son, James and his wife Susan of Dracut, MA; her grandchildren, Travis, Sonya and Devan Reagan, Richard Jr., Shawn and Rylee Greene; and her nephew, Clifford Poth.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Cynthia Reagan; brother, Matthew Poth; and her former husband, Robert E. Reagan.

Funeral services are private and are being held at the convenience of the family.
