Armando V. Bezeredy

Armando V. Bezeredy, 94, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Santa E. (Carrozza) Bezeredy, in which they shared seventy-one wonderful years in marriage.

Born, raised, and educated in Genova, Italy, the son of the late Rodolfo and Maria (Guzzoni) Bezeredy, Armando was proud to have served in the Marina Militare (Italian Navy). He met his sweetheart, Santa E. (Carrozza) Bezeredy, prior to his military service and were married in 1950. In 1968, they immigrated to the United States, and settled in East Boston, MA, with their children. In 1981, they made their final move to Methuen.
Armando’s main trade was carpentry and he retired from his last job working for Philips Academy in Andover, MA. He will be remembered for being a resourceful and caring person. Armando was a “jack of all trades,” always able to repair anything. His ability was due to his artistic and creative talent.

Strong in his Catholic faith, Armando was also committed to his family. He spent time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, of whom he was proud. Family events were especially important to Armando, and the memories he enjoyed most were often made at the family dinner table.

Some hobbies Armando enjoyed were playing bingo, completing home projects, and making toys for his children and grandchildren. He loved to lend a hand and help his children with anything they needed.

The family would like to thank Armando’s grandson, Adam Peavey, who provided him with daily care that allowed him to be comfortable in his own home.

Armando was predeceased by his grandson, Marco Bezeredy; common-law son-in-law, Frank Romero; and beloved siblings, Rosetta Novelli, Caterina Ge, Lorenzo Bezeredy, Arnaldo Bezeredy, Lorenzina Bezeredy, and Mauro Bezeredy.

In addition to his wife Santa, Armando is survived and will be greatly missed by his children, Silvana Siudut and husband James Siudut of Methuen, Josephine Cutsinger and her husband James Lowery of Venice, FL, Felix Bezeredy of East Boston, MA, Cynthia Bezeredy of Canton, MA, Marco A. Bezeredy and his wife Lois Rubin of Peabody, MA, Sabrina Peavey and her husband Paul Peavey of Methuen; grandchildren, Sheila, Jackie, Tania, Yolanda, John, Stephanie, Christine, Jennifer, Anthony, Josephine, Adam, and Alex; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Angela Bezeredy, Franca Rigamonti, Anna Maria Langella, and Eugenio Bezeredy; many cousins, nieces, nephews; and sister-in-law, Rosalia Izzo of Revere, MA.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 2:00-6:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Peasant Valley Street, Methuen. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel.
