Armand "Marc" St. Pierre
February 13, 1937 ~ January 20, 2020 (age 82) 82 Years Old
Armand R. "Marc" St. Pierre, 82, of Lawrence passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2020 at High Pointe House in Haverhill, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with COPD. He was born on his family farm in Degelis, Quebec, Canada and was the son of the late Thomas and Lea (Lemieux) St. Pierre.
Raised in Canada, Marc settled in Lawrence, in the late 1960s. He owned a concrete and flooring business before ultimately retiring as a machine operator from Malden Mills. He loved life, and his family and friends meant everything to him. His most treasured moments were times spent with his daughters and grandchildren. Marc enjoyed tending to his backyard, most especially his garden, wood working, and being surrounded with friends who were like a second family. He had a heart of gold especially when it came to helping others, and had a great sense of humor. Marc was a loving, compassionate, kind man who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. He was also a member of the French Social Naturalization Club.
In addition to his parents, Marc was predeceased by his loving wife of forty-four years, Charlotte A. (Boner) St. Pierre and two siblings, Benoit and Jean-Leo.
Marc is survived by his cherished daughters, Nicole and her companion Corey of Haverhill; Sonya and Sean of Salem, NH; his loving grandchildren, Vanessa, Alexandria, Victoria, Robert “Bobby,” and Lea and his adored great-granddaughter, Lily. He also leaves behind his siblings, Rita, Benjamin, Joseph and his wife Jacqueline, Ghislain and his wife Laurinette, Ghislaine and her husband Edgar, Gerard and his wife Adrienne, Marcel and his wife Francine, Nicole and her companion Albert. In addition, he also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family in Canada and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. His mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish / St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street in Methuen.
