Antonios J. Bistany

Antonios J. Bistany, 85, of Salem, NH passed away Christmas day, December 25, 2018 at his son Johnny’s home in Methuen surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Dibbieh, Lebanon and was the son of the late Joseph and Salma Bistany.

Mr. Bistany was raised and educated in Lebanon and immigrated to the United States in the summer of 1984. He was a self-made man, and successful entrepreneur who worked hard his whole life to provide for his family. He was a member of Grace Bible Church in Dracut, and spent his life walking with Christ, supporting his family, and helping those in need.

His greates joy came from spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Mr. Bistany is survived by his wife, Rosaline (Abi-aad) Bistany; his children, Johnny Bistany and his wife Elizabeth of Methuen, Patricia Raphael and her husband Joseph of Salem, NH and Jenny Bistany of Lynnfield; his siblings, Issam, Nagibi, Norma, and Ramona all of Lebanon, and his grandchildren, Anthony, Laura, Abigail, Sarah, James, Jean-Pierre, Joseph and Christina. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Fawzi and sisters, Rose and Laure.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
