SERVICE UPDATE INFORMATION BELOW
Anthony S. DiDio, age 91, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2022, in Delray Beach, FL. He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred A. (Cuscia) DiDio, with whom he shared sixty-four years in marriage.
Anthony was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Grasso) DiDio. In 1952, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country in the 86th Air Police Squadron as an Investigator. Upon his discharge and safe return home, he attended Suffolk University where he received a Bachelor’s degree followed by a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University. He retired as a Patriot Program manager from Raytheon Company.
Anthony enjoyed many trips throughout Europe over the years; he enjoyed living in Germany for two years while stationed in the military. He also lived in Italy for two years with his family when he was transferred there to work as a program manager. In his younger years, Anthony enjoyed spending time with his family, playing tennis, real estate development projects, volunteering at the Red Cross, shopping for bargains, boating and driving his convertible. He also made great memories spending time during his winter months in Florida. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his wife Mildred, his son Eric and Anthony’s siblings who also predeceased him: Salvatore DiDio, Angelo DiDio, Charles DiDio, Catherine Tarquinio and Jennie Santacroce and his sisters and brothers in-law: Lucy, Mary, Evelyn, Sharon, Sylvio and Americo, he is survived by his children, Mark DiDio of Lawrence, MA, and Christine DiDio of Delray Beach, FL; grandchildren, Natalie Richards and Dylan Richards; brother-in-law, Michael Cuscia; sister-in-law, Ilona DiDio and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral mass being celebrated on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Lucy Church, 254 Merrimack Street, Methuen, MA. Interment will be on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 9:30 AM at St. Mary - Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
