Anthony A. Privitera, 30, of Methuen, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, surrounded by loving family in the comfort of his home.
Born and raised in Lawrence, Anthony was the son of Alfredo A. Privitera and Laurie Ann (Cole) Privitera. He attended Belmont High School in Belmont, NH and soon after went to work with his father learning the skills of auto body and mechanics. Anthony realized he had a natural talent for this industry and eventually learned that he enjoyed detailing, applying car wraps and making signage, which resulted in starting his own company.
When not busy at work, Anthony loved to repair cars, dirt bikes and four wheelers. Soon after, his talent also became his hobby, tearing down and rebuilding dirt bikes and four wheelers and best of all riding his new creations. He also loved computers and computer software. His love for dogs was endless, taking in dogs whenever he could. He loved his dog and best friend, Sasha.
Anthony was predeceased by his grandfather’s Antonio Privitera and Robert L. Cole; uncle, Lee E. Cole.
In addition to his mother and father, Anthony is survived by his grandmother’s Rosaria (Granata) Privitera and Esther (Dalton) Cole; siblings, Leandra Privitera of Haverhill, Nickolaus Privitera of Laconia, NH, Chantelle LeFebvre of Summerfield, FL; nephew, Aivyn and nieces, Ava & Amaiya; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to gather on Sunday, March 8, 2020 between the hours of 4-7 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Peasant Valley Street in Methuen. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Anthony’s memory to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack Street, Building 9, Lawrence, MA 01843-9924.
