Anthony R. Loiacono 72, of Haverhill passed away Saturday July 7, 2018, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lawrence on January 27, 1946 to the late Luigi and Angela (Spinello) Loiacono.
A graduate of Tenney High School, class of 1963, Anthony graduated from Franklin Institute with a degree in engineering and received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Merrimack College.
Anthony was a U.S. veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed as the operations manager for the Law Offices of Anthony R. Di Fruscia until his retirement. He enjoyed golfing, travel and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Anthony was a member of the Knights of Columbus having raised to his 3rd degree in Methuen and his 4th degree in Salem NH.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Beverly (DeQuattro) Loiacono of Haverhill; his daughter, Karen (Loiacono) Bona and her husband, John of Haverhill; and his son, Anthony and his wife, Kara of Salem, NH. Also, among his survivors are his grandchildren, Tori Mitchell, Gianna Rosenau, Anthony Loiacono, Andria Loiacono, Isabella Rosenau and Christopher Bon; as well as his sister, Carmela Mancini of Methuen; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. A funeral mass will be offered on Wednesday, July 11th at 10:00 AM at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
