Anthony J. Coletti, Sr.
June 23, 1948 ~ August 25, 2019 (age 71) 71 Years Old
Anthony J. Coletti, Sr., 71, of Seabrook, NH passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 25, 2019. Born in Lawrence, he was the son of the late Charles and Jennie (Tomaselli) Coletti.
A graduate of Lawrence High School, class of 1966, Anthony earned his master’s degree in education at Suffolk University, class of 1970. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1970 – 1976.
Anthony taught history, world cultures, and business for thirty-seven years at Billerica Memorial High School. He loved being at Seabrook Beach, boating, fishing, collecting beach treasures, and following meteorology. He loved having cookouts at his beach house with family and friends. His passion for fishing was highlighted when he caught a monstrous 800 pound tuna.
Devoted to his family, Anthony had an immense love for his children and grandchildren. He loved his country and was a huge supporter of President Donald J. Trump.
He was predeceased by his sister, E. Marie Coen, and his brother-in-law, Captain James Coen, Sr.
Anthony is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-two years and high school sweetheart, Jane Marie (Losier) Coletti; his sons, Glen Coletti and his girlfriend, Amy Torla, of Seabrook, and Anthony Coletti, Jr., of Hudson, NH; brother, Carl Coletti and his wife, Carol, of Montana; grandchildren, Arianna, Sofia, Joseph, and Ava Coletti; nieces and nephews, James Coen, Jr. and his wife, Catherine Zerba, Deb Coen-Coder, Jennifer and James Coen, III, Craig, Amy, and Cathy Coletti, Paige and Shea Swenson.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, August 29, 2019, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street in Methuen. Private funeral services will be held on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org.
